Wich of those interfaces has the better preamps? (Profire 2626 has the same preamps of the m-audio Octane 8-channel preamp")

but it doesn't come with any software, so in case I buy the 8pre, what software do you recommend me buying? (Windows xp pro computer). then I read about the motu 8pre and that it has better mic pre-amps and it's "better" than the firestudio - Opinions?. I used to be sure about getting the new Profire 2626 from M-audio so i could use and start learning pro tools but I haven't heard many good things about it (M-powered) - What do you think?- so then i tought about getting the Firestudio and use the version of Cubase that comes with it and like a year later buy a digi 003 or something. I know that in the future i will have to use Pro tools. What I want it's to start learning about recording techniques and all.
